- Providing catalyst grants for interdisciplinary, high-risk research

- Facilitating workshops to strengthen connections and collaboration between the social and physical sciences
Training
Climate Positive Energy will provide world class training via:
- Offering travel awards to attend external conferences and workshops
- Supporting and attracting world-class PhD students
- Creating a PDF and PhD support network and mentorship program
- Hosting workshops and hackathons
Partnerships
Climate Positive energy works to build partnerships with community groups, government, and industry. Climate Positive Energy aims to focus on establishing and supporting meaningful long-term engagement and collaboration with indigenous partners to support equitable clean energy solutions. Knowledge Translation & Promotion
Knowledge translation and promotion is essential for catalyzing interdisciplinary research, climate action and technology commercialization. Climate Positive Energy will promote knowledge sharing and translation via:
- Technology validation grants
- Entrepreneurship training
- Speaker series
- Clean energy symposiums
- Policy white papers
- Communications and news on clean energy research at U of T
