CANSTOREnergy is made possible through $24,000,000 in federal funding awarded to the University and its partners. The funding represents the largest ever federal research grant awarded under the Government’s New Frontiers in Research Fund (NFRF), which supports world-leading interdisciplinary, high-risk / high-reward, and rapid-response Canadian-led research.
Partners
CANSTOREnergy brings together researchers from 11 Canadian universities, along with community, utility and industry partners. The research team includes scientists and engineers as well as political and social scientists, economists and business specialists, and other experts from institutions spanning across Canada’s three coasts.
