Sustainable Engineers Association (SEA) at the University of Toronto invites you to our Annual Sustainability Conference 2024! This event is sponsored by Climate Positive Energy and will take place on Saturday, February 3rd, 2024, from 9:00AM -5:00PM. Breakfast and lunch will be provided as well as the exclusive opportunity to network with some of the top leaders and academics within the sustainability industry! 

This year the theme is Sustainable Technology. The organizedrs aim to highlight initiatives, policies, and perspectives that positively shape sustainable technologies. From decarbonization to sustainable transportation to battery recycling, this conference is a must-attend for anyone who has an interest in learning about the green technologies shaping our future in sustainability! Speakers include Professor David Sinton, Canada Research Chair and Professor at the University of Toronto, Jonathan Edwards, Senior Principal Engineer, Carbon Capture Deep Sky, and Adam Rosenfield, Team Leader, Emerging Technologies Office, Ontario Ministry of Transportation.

This event is open to all undergraduate and graduate students, as well as industry professionals, who are looking to gain professional development experience and insight into the industries at the forefront of the shift to sustainable practices. The hope is to give students from different backgrounds the opportunity to connect and converse with individuals who come from similar backgrounds, creating long-lasting relationships through which we can create a sustainable future together.
