The Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering graduate program students are invited to apply for this exciting 2024-25 paid Fellowship with Climate Positive Energy in collaboration with Rotman’s Dobson Business & Climate Project.

One student Fellow will be selected to support the Global Climate Finance Accelerator (GCFA) to model investments in technically viable climate solutions from September 2024 to April 2025. The selection process will be conducted jointly with GCFA and the student will work with peers from Rotman and the GCFA team during the school year.
The Fellow may be involved in tasks such as:
- Identifying opportunities to decarbonize or increase the resilience of company operations under a changing climate.
- Attending status update meetings with company executives.
- Helping model costs and associated future cash flows associated with investing in the identified climate solution(s).
- Identifying financing gaps and work with government and philanthropic partners to address gap.
- Helping create the investment case and supporting pitches to investors.
In total, the Fellow’s time commitment is 5-10 hours per week during the school terms with some variation in this schedule based on the needs of GCFA.
