Climate Positive Energy Knowledge Mobilization Grant

Climate Positive Energy is pleased to announce applications for its Knowledge Mobilization Grant. The grant provides funding to support proposals aimed at activities such as data collection, knowledge mobilization, knowledge translation, community engagement, surveys, field studies. Projects need to investigate the social, political, economic, and climate implications of sustainable energy, and guide technology development for just climate change mitigation in the service of local and global communities.

Some examples of proposals to be funded include but not limited to: social justice, consumer behaviour, adaptation, mitigation, climate action, policy, climate awareness, equitable and just transition to renewable energy, talent upskilling, economics, regulations.

Successful applications should pursue research under the following Climate Positive Energy core pillar:

ENVISION

Investigate the social, political, economic, and climate implications of sustainable energy and guide technology development for just climate change mitigation in the service of local and global communities.

Details and Eligibility

  • Up to $50,000 per successful application, for a funding period of 1-2 years.
  • Open to University of Toronto professors.
  • Successful applicants are requested to actively participate in Climate Positive Energy activities and programs.
